Macular degeneration

AMD (Age-related Macular Degeneration) is a disease that affects the retina, especially the macula, which is a small area of the retina responsible for focusing the images. It causes a marked decrease in visual acuity, distortion of the images or areas of vision with black spots, especially in the central part.

If you notice any of these symptoms, if you have a family history that has suffered AMD, or if you are over 50 years old, we recommend that you do a complete check of your retina to detect possible injuries and treat them in time before losing vision.
